Theyfound on Craigslist what they thought was a fairprice: $5,900 for four seats, about double face value even if they had to send their money to a Baltimore Ravens fan.
After emailing, texting and talking with the seller on the phone, they wired the money to his credit union. On Monday, the highly anticipated package arrived. Instead of Super Bowl tickets, inside was a picture of quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Joe Flacco with a message that read: "Enjoy the game! Go Ravens! "I'm just sick like, physically sick," said Sharon Osgood, 49. "All overthe envelope it says 'go Ravens' even on the FedEx label." No one answered the phone at the number listed on Craigslist, and right underneath the ad, a Craigslist warning says: "Do NOT wire funds." For the Super Bowl, each team is reimbursed for transportation expenses equal to 200 first-class airfares, and the winner gets $4.3 million while the runnerup gets $3.2 million.
