Is Act 3 the end of Inscryption? ›

The Finale is the fourth and final section of Inscryption.

Eventually, under the right circumstances, the goo will suggest you can open the clock by moving the hands to the right time. If you'd rather not wait, however, here's the solution: Set the clock's hands to 11:00.

The Secret Boss

The short answer for fighting this boss is that you need to have earned the Mycologist's Key in Act 2 and then go to the Waypoint between the Beast area and the Dead area. If you move your mouse over the right down diagonal, you'll see a secret path.

The goal is to score five points in a single round with the cards available. Each of the slide puzzles is a representation of the card game you've been playing at the table. The metal squares each represent a card, and you can slide them up and down to move them from your side of the table to your opponent's.

Ouroboros is a rare Reptile Beast card in Act I and Act II of Inscryption. Every time Ouroboros dies, it returns to your hand with +1 Power and +1 Health. It will keep that stat boost throughout the entire game, even across chapters.

The OLD_DATA is apparently something of great evil that has seemingly made the games that are trying to keep it under wraps sentient. This seems to be why the game is aware of itself and why PO3 wants to upload its version to the internet.

What does the fuzzy card do in Inscryption? ›

The Glitched Card is a card with the "Random Card" Trait. While not in your hand or on the board the entire card image appears to be static. Upon drawing this card, it is temporarily replaced with a random card available from card choice nodes until the end of battle.

Mirror reflects the attack of whatever is opposing it (which makes it pretty much just a do some damage then be useless card). Card counter does damage based on how many cards are in your hand.

Scissors allow the player to cut one of the opponent's cards, destroying it. There are very few cards (such as the Packmule and the Moon) that are Uncuttable, making the Scissors a major threat to almost every card in the game.

After you take down Golly during Inscryption's third act, you'll enter into the end game. At this point, it doesn't seem like you can actually fail, but with so much happening quickly, the ending might prove a little confusing.

The player can choose which way to move on the map, which affects the next encounters. Inscryption is a roguelike deck-building game.
